Firestarter Flint for Camping Emergencies

You no longer have to repeatedly purchase new matches or lighters. This convenient pocket fire starter is remarkably durable and boasts a significant lifespan. Prior to use, ensure that paraffin is placed in the chamber of the fire starter to properly saturate the wick's end, guaranteeing a dependable spark and a lasting flame. This permanent match comes with a rectangular casing housing a metal rod that is securely screwed in. With the provided keychain pendant, you'll always have a light source when needed. One end of the metal rod features a wick, and when the lighter is closed, it remains waterproof.

To initiate the spark, strike it at least ten times to break through the protective layer. Position the flint with the top facing upwards on a stable surface, hold the scraper upright to the flint, and then apply some magnesium powder onto combustible materials such as paper or small twigs. Angle the flint approximately 45° and about 2.5 cm away from the magnesium powder placed on the ground, then quickly scrape the stone to create a spark that will ignite the flammable substances.
