Tool Specifications: This damaged bolt and stud extractor tool has a 3/8-inch drive and works with manual or pneumatic impact wrenches and sockets to remove damaged bolts and studs for 1/4 - 1/2-inch (6 - 12 mm) studs.
Solid & Heavy Duty: This 3/8-inch damaged bolt extractor is made of heat-treated alloy steel and is chrome-plated to resist damage from heavy-duty work, as well as lubricating the internal rotating threads to provide protection against rust and wear.
Tailored: Traditional bolt extractors are limited in size and variety, while our bolt extractor employs a universal design with automatic size adjustment, which can grip damaged bolts for stripping.
Efficient multi-use: This stud removal tool is easy to use and will help you achieve multiple breaks, whether it's exhaust manifolds, fuel plugs, broken bolts, or broken, painted, or rusty set screws.
Easy to use: Using this tool for stud removal requires little thought; place the stud extractor on the stud and tighten the jaws by turning the bottom hexagonal flat nut counterclockwise. Once the jaws are securely gripping the damaged bolt or stud, continue to turn the stud counterclockwise until it is removed.
